In my twenty plus years with the Auto Club I have developed a deeper understanding of the history of southern California. I have made extensive use of our collection highlights of historical photographs, maps, publications and our fine art collection in a range of activities, including teacher education, internal and external exhibits, lectures and presentations, plus in print, television, internet, and radio media._ For most of my time at the Auto Club I have contributed to Westways, the member magazine, by writing the popular "OffRamp" column that appears in every issue.
